To reorganize Washington Street, an existing wide traffic thoroughfare, as a “complete street” between two thriving Georgia towns. d+e teamed with Jacob Lindsay and Randy Vinson, Covington’s planning director. Adjusted zoning requirements and additional sidewalks, bike lanes and landscaping with shade trees boosts the attractiveness of the street for redevelopment and investment in these booming Atlanta exurbs.
